Ben has designed, developed and supported high volume dynamic community sites since 1998. His academic computer science foundation and years of industry experience cover designing multi-tiered, scalable architectures (proven to ~60million views/day), content and community management systems, database and web server performance optimizations, and leading the conception, development and integration of dynamic features while minimizing resource impact. Recent work for Ben includes researching and developing a framework to facilitate rich internet application (RIA) development as well as integrating his experience with .NET and C# in the linux and open source context.
